GR8 FEST. at Osaka-jō Hall

Client:

Sound Creator Inc.

GR8 FEST. was a large-scale music event held on October 10–11, 2020 at Osaka-jō Hall, one of Osaka’s largest indoor venues with a capacity of approximately 16,000. The event brought together eight leading Japanese rock bands and took place at a time when most live events in Japan were being cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions. It aimed to present a model for how live music could be delivered in a way that was both exciting and responsible during a period of industry-wide uncertainty.

Project:

Digital Communications Lead

I led the event’s digital creative execution, shaping how the festival was presented and communicated across all public-facing channels. A central focus of the project was maintaining clarity, trust, and visual consistency while delivering government-aligned COVID-19 safety guidelines.

My responsibilities included the development and operation of the official website, social media presence, and the production of all promotional visual assets. I ensured that ticketing information, event updates, and safety guidance were communicated clearly and reliably, keeping the entire experience cohesive across every touchpoint.
